The Czech Heritage Club has no physical boundaries. It is open to anyone who is interested in preserving and promoting Czech culture, no matter his or her heritage or where they live.Our organization originated as an outgrowth of the Czech Language and Culture classes of New Prague community education taught by Marian Topic. The desire to meet outside of the classroom existed for a number of years. In April 2002 we organized as the Czech Heritage Club.
In 2007 we joined the New Prague Chamber of Commerce

Meetings: 2nd Wednesday of the month 7 pm at the New Prague City Hall Active membership dues are: $15 per person per year $25 per couple per year Our short business meetings include a program, and social time with refreshments. Some of the programs we have presented are: Czech movies, Czech kroj (costumes), Czech music and composers, Czech crystal, glass and porcelain, literature by Czech authors, Easter customs, display of wood carving, genealogy, harvest time, springtime maple syrup, sing-a-long by New Prague Czech singers, Czech bead factories, History of Veseli, MN, Polk-Of-A, History of the Concertina, Post cards from the past and much more...

Goals of the club
-Preserve Czech Culture in our communities
-Educate the public about our culture
-Adopt customs not currently in use in our area
-Support other communities in their efforts of preservation and education.
-Instill pride in our heritage
